Websites

Your collection, online too

A website for your collection or foundation, connected to your ITGallery database. Publish the artworks, artists and exhibitions you want to show and keep them up to date from where you document the collection.

Catalog once. Your website, up to date.

A new acquisition. A change to an artwork’s record. An exhibition you’ve just created. You record it in ITGallery and your collection’s website shows it automatically. No repeating photos or data, and no keeping the collection in two different places.

  • In two languages, or more Your collection’s website includes two languages, and you can add others if institutions from other countries consult it.
  • Polished on any screen Your collection’s artworks look good on desktop, phone or tablet: the website adapts to each one on its own.
  • Technical maintenance Technical maintenance is on us, so all you decide is which artworks from the collection are shown.

Websites

The website comes from your catalog

In ITGallery you document your collection: each artwork with its artist, images, provenance, valuations, location and history of loans and exhibitions. The website connects directly to that database and shows the artworks you choose to publish, so you keep it up to date from the same place where you catalog.

Real websites

Real websites powered by ITGallery

Live websites that take their content straight from ITGallery.

WordPress and API

Already have your own website?

If your collection or foundation already has a website, you can connect it to ITGallery without building another one. With WordPress, our plugin links your site to your collection’s database and shows on it what you manage in ITGallery. If the website is a custom build, our API lets you take your collection’s data wherever you need it.

Before you decide

Common questions

The questions we hear most before people get started. If something is missing, write to us and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Do I have to publish my whole collection?

No. Your collection stays private in ITGallery, and the website shows the artworks you publish from the system. You decide what is shown and what stays private.

How does the collection’s website stay up to date?

Automatically. When you add an acquisition, change an artwork’s record or create an exhibition in ITGallery, the change appears on the website without repeating photos or data.

Does it work for a foundation or a collection that exhibits its works?

Yes. The website publishes the artworks, artists and exhibitions you manage in ITGallery, so you present the collection and its exhibition activity from the same database where you document it.

Can the website be in several languages?

Yes. It includes two languages and you can add more. Each artwork appears in the languages in which you have its information recorded in ITGallery.

My collection already has a website. Can I connect it?

Yes. With WordPress, our plugin connects it to your collection’s database; if it’s a custom build, our API lets you use your ITGallery data wherever you need it.

How much does a collection website cost?

We work it out based on the design you choose and what you’ll publish, in a no-obligation quote. Technical maintenance is on us.
