AI for art galleries

Ask your gallery’s inventory

Connect ITGallery to Claude or ChatGPT and ask for what you need the way you’d ask someone on your team: what’s available by an artist, which editions are left or what the gallery sold last quarter. Read-only, with each user’s permissions and included from the Premium plan up.

What you can ask

Your gallery, one question away

  • Availability by artist “Which works by Ana Martín do we have available?” And the list arrives in seconds, without opening the artwork list.
  • Details for a client An artwork’s medium, dimensions, editions, location and images, to answer a collector on the spot.
  • Series and editions “Which editions are left in Luis Pérez’s print series?” It tells you which are available and in which location.
  • Prices for a proposal “Which paintings do we have for under €3,000?” Only for those who can see prices in the gallery.
  • Quarterly sales “What did we sell between January and March, and to whom?” For those with permission to see the gallery’s sales.
  • Fair materials Ask for a selection of available work for a booth or a dossier for a client. It writes it in the conversation.

How it works

Connected in minutes

There’s nothing to install: you connect from your assistant, and the connection stays on until you disconnect it.

  1. STEP 1 Choose who uses it It’s included at no cost in the Premium, Professional and Unlimited plans. A gallery administrator grants the permission to each person on the team.
  2. STEP 2 Add ITGallery to your assistant In Claude or ChatGPT, create a custom connector with the URL mcp.itgalleryapp.com/mcp.
  3. STEP 3 Sign in and authorize Sign in with your ITGallery account and click “Allow.” If you use two-step verification, you’ll be asked for that too.
  4. STEP 4 Ask whatever you need Write it the way you’d say it to a colleague. The assistant searches the gallery’s inventory and answers with its data.

Security

Your data, under your control

Before connecting, ITGallery shows which assistant is requesting access and what it will be able to do, and each person allows or denies it. After that, it follows the same rules the gallery already has in ITGallery.

  • Read-only: it can’t create, change or delete anything
  • Prices and sales, only if your user can see them
  • Never internal notes or buyer contacts
  • No one has it by default: an administrator grants it
  • Sign-in with your account and two-step verification
  • One-click disconnect from your user profile

Common questions

The questions we hear most about AI assistants. If something is missing, write to us and we’ll tell you.

Which plans include it?

In the Premium, Professional and Unlimited plans, at no extra cost: it isn’t charged separately. It isn’t available on the Basic plan. Each person uses their own Claude or ChatGPT account.

Who at the gallery can use it?

Only the people a gallery administrator gives permission to. Each person sees the same as they see in ITGallery: if they can’t see prices or sales, the assistant won’t show them either.

Can it change or delete anything in ITGallery?

No. Access is read-only: the assistant looks up artworks, editions and availability and, if your user can see them, prices and sales. It can’t create, change or delete anything.

What gallery data can it read?

The gallery’s artworks and editions (title, artist, year, medium, dimensions, status, location, tags and public images) and their availability; prices and sales, only with permission. Never internal notes, buyers’ contact details or other modules, such as invoices or Mailing.

Where does the data it reads go?

What the assistant reads in ITGallery goes to the provider of the assistant you use (Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for ChatGPT) to prepare the answer, and stays in your conversation history under their terms. That’s why we recommend reviewing your account’s privacy settings. ITGallery keeps a technical log of queries, but doesn’t see your conversations.

What happens if someone leaves the gallery?

When you remove their permission or deactivate their user in ITGallery, their assistant loses access on the next query, without waiting for anything to expire.

Does it work if I work with several galleries?

Yes. The assistant sees the galleries that have a Premium plan or higher and where your user has the permission. Just tell it which one to search.
